How to measure your wrist for a watch. This is usually more on your arm and a little below the wrist bone. Bring the ends of the tape closer and read the difference between the numbers on the tape. Then, record the number on the tape that overlaps with its 0 end and add roughly 0.5 inches, so your watch or bracelet isn't too snug.

If you don't have the ability to print out (and cut out) the printable tool, you can also measure your wrist using a tape measure or ruler, paper, and pen. Wrap the measuring tool around your wrist. (if it helps, use some tape to hold the wider part in place.)

Measure the long end of the strap from the spring pinhole to the second or third hole on the watch band. Open your hand (doing so will ensure you get the real size of your wrist when it’s the largest) snuggly wrap a measuring tape around your wrist. However, if you’re looking for our advice, it would be to put it just below the wrist bone.

Measure your wrist with the tape measure slightly around the bottom of the palm if you prefer a looser fit. Don't pull it too tight. Bring all your fingers together, specifically being sure to bring your thumb in so that it is touching your pinkie finger.

Take the actual measurement where the tape meets itself.
